Getting a post out in the nick of time and honestly not sure I have a ton to add from last month.
From the Michael Easter post I mentioned, I ended up getting his book Comfort Crisis, which has been my bedside read for the last month. I am enjoying it very much. I’ll say, one thing I just learned is that 20 minutes of nature 3x per week significantly improves health across all areas of ‘health.’ But here’s the catch- walking with your phone (even when just listening to a podcast) eliminated the benefits. Chatgpt cannot seem to find this study, but it is referenced in the book. Surprising but not.
Entering Fall! Now is the time I pull out the following supplements:
vitamin D
breathe by host defense
zinc with vitamin c
Last year I was tipped off to : turkey tail and agarikon mushroom as a powerful duo for immune health.
Oh, also started listening to How to Menopause > same same on the information but written differently since this woman was a journalist vs a medical provider. It is definitely more journalistic and may be a better fit for some.

On the topic of immune as we enter fall, Im finding myself buying a LOT of marys products. Currently have:
marys zinc
marys vitamin c
marys vitamin d
immune avenger
echinacea kids
These are our frequent flyers and I start them up at ANY sign of illness and sometimes just throw them into his water just because.
I’ll add - we have my son in a daycare that spends nearly all of their time outdoors and im thinking we may notice a difference this year in how much kids are sick. So, possibly a pro tip- find a daycare that is ‘outdoor-based’
